Barnaby Hughes is an actor, singer, dancer and writer, represented by Sainou
A graduate of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Barnaby has been acting in both amateur and professional productions since the tender age of 5. Beginning his acting training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, he then went on to receive a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre Performance from Mountview.
Barnaby is currently appearing as Combeferre in Les Miserables in London’s West End, where he also understudies the roles of Javert and Enjolras. Prior to this he covered and played the role of John in the Miss Saigon UK Tour. He has also appeared in leading roles in The Hope Mill Theatre’s production of Yank!, the UK premiere of Cougar: The Musical at the Belgrade Theatre, Legally Blonde at the Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Beauty and the Beast at the Cork Opera House, Grand Central at the Charing Cross Theatre, QDOS’ production of Dick Whittington and the Landor Theatre’s production of Damn Yankees.
He is also the founder and director of Peerless People.
He is also a car fanatic, keen (though incompetent) photographer, fire spinner, and unicorn whisperer*.
